Very diverse and highly developed multi-sensorial multi-disciplinary artistic practice based on excellent knowledge of science, sound recording, digital design and processing, data visualization. Intangible light, sun and sound are collected through field recording or various methods of data sharing are turned into different physical, visual, or oral art forms. Each output has a poetic resonance and adapted technology and manifestation. Urban or rural interventions are at the core of this observational practice filled with stories and soundscapes, wonderment and precision. Abstractions, knowledge and facts are transformed into experience.

An Evolution game

Are errors aesthetic, cultivated entities manifesting the incapability of grasping any realm. In multiple construction, deconstruction, and re-construction I will play with the different possibilities to extract physical content from an already existing form while adding or substituting parts of it so as to form an alternative entity and a narrative.

Decay

Decay, is a general name for research in collaboration with María Boto and Laboratorieumbio at KASK, Ghent over the behavioral characteristic of dyes in gell solution, encapsulated in specifically designed glass forms.

Chameleon Pale

This skin coloring series is an alternative camouflage in the fast-changing environmental conditions. It protects and moisturizes your skin, and gives you a uniquely dynamic look. Colors, extracted from microalgae and cyanobacteria are mixed vegetable oils the series may be applied onto skin surface by your choice.

Extracting Matter

This amorphous structure of multiplied forms grows out of a surface and aims to colonize and extent in the given territory. Like a virus, a fungus, a Gestalt extracting itself in its purest mater. In the composition, each piece stands autonomously despite being part of a larger structure.

Self Portraits

With her self-portraits, Pepa Ivanova aims to encapsulate information about herself at the age of 33. The engraved brass plates consist of biological information, textile samples of her clothes and some characteristics of her personality.
